Velschii [Welsch], Georg. Commentarius in Ruzname Naurus [Augsburg, 1676]

This item had been recently rebound at a commercial library bindery in low quality and inappropriate materials, much to the dismay of the collector, who requested a more sympathetic period-style binding. The textblock and raised cord sewing were in strong condition.

Page mend flyleaf. Disbind from binding; new endpapers of matching archival endpapers. Dye Hewit's calf skin for full calf binding, over raised cords, with new leather spine label.
